The story is set in Tajimi City, Gifu Prefecture, a region renowned for its rich history in ceramics. The protagonist, Himeno Toyokawa, moves to Tajimi with her father following the death of her mother. Struggling to adjust to her new environment, Himeno discovers a passion for pottery after joining her high school's pottery club. Her journey into the world of ceramics becomes a means of connecting with her late mother, who was also a skilled potter.
