Description
Mineko is a cat-girl character from the beastfolk territory in the world of Summoned to Another World for a Second Time. She initially appears as a bedridden girl afflicted by a cursed necklace placed on her by the antagonist Touma. This curse was used to manipulate her older sister, Shironeko, into following Touma’s orders. After the protagonist, Setsu, removes the curse, Mineko makes a full recovery and begins a new chapter in her life. Freed from her long confinement, she becomes lively and sharp-tongued, though she can still be timid or uncertain when facing new situations. Her recovery fills her with hope and curiosity, and she develops a strong eagerness to forge friendships and take on adventures.

Mineko’s primary motivation is to live freely after years of being trapped by the curse, and she is deeply grateful to Setsu for healing her. She also cares deeply for her sister Shironeko and supports her in their shared journey. As a Beastgirl, Mineko possesses physical traits such as cat ears and a tail, and she is capable of agility typical of her kin. Notably, she and Shironeko share a secret weapon: they can fuse together, combining their abilities into a single, more powerful form. This fusion is a unique technique that the two sisters can use in battle.

In the story, Mineko serves as a supporting companion to Setsu after he arrives in the beastfolk continent. She joins him on his mission to stop Touma and becomes a trusted ally. Her relationship with Setsu grows from one of gratitude into a bond of mutual trust and friendship. Her development is marked by her transition from a sheltered, curse-bound patient to an active adventurer who eagerly embraces the world and its challenges. Though she may initially be uncertain, she proves herself capable and loyal as she participates in the group’s efforts to thwart Touma’s plans.
