Description
Agito is the primary buddy monster to Masato Rikuo, the transfer student known as the Ace of Sports. He commands as leader of the Linkdragon Order, a group dedicated to equality and cooperation. His inclusive leadership welcomes newcomers like Wings. Deep loyalty defines his bonds with Masato and their friends, recognizing these connections as the source of his growth and strength.

Agito transforms through multiple evolutionary stages. His initial SD form appears as a bipedal red dragon with maroon and pink pupils set against yellow sclera. He features two large upper horns and a sharp gray forehead horn accented yellow. His tail ends in a yellow axe-like structure, a yellow W-shaped mark adorns his chest, and he wears a chain necklace. Transitioning to full form, he becomes a quadrupedal red dragon with increased horns, an elongated central forehead horn, visible yellow claws, body spikes, and a dark maroon-highlighted tail axe.

As King Agito, his size dramatically increases. He gains inverted wings tipped with neon green spikes. His claws and tail axe enlarge significantly, and chains now envelop his body. The Rumbling Thunderaxe, Agito form introduces dark cobalt blue spikes on his feet, a large waist belt, and neon green chest markings, concentrating chains around his neck. His final evolution, Rumbling Thunderaxe, Emperor Agito, maintains his massive scale and inverted wings with dark cobalt blue spikes. His neon green claws and knee spikes become sharper and more pronounced, adding small spikes to his lower legs.

Narratively, Agito's origins and development unfold in dedicated Linkdragon Order episodes. One episode specifically explores the group's founding and Agito's growth, framed by Masato seeking resolution through a rematch against Daijiro, a former friend separated by conflicting ideals. Agito's abilities are intrinsically linked to the Linkdragon Order's signature "Dragon Share" mechanic. This ability enables skill sharing among members, embodying the theme of teamwork central to Masato's deck and philosophy, reinforcing Agito's role in facilitating collective strength during buddyfights.
