This intense duel culminated in a dramatic final corner, where Kazami narrowly clinched victory over Shinjo, Randoll, and Sugo.

Before his Cyber Formula career, Shinjo competed in Formula 3. His performances there drew significant attention, notably impressing Miki Jounouchi, the Sugo team's chief mechanic. Jounouchi observed Shinjo's fierce competitive drive and determination during these early races.
