Description
Armada stands 204 cm tall and weighs 230 kg, appearing as a cat with bear-like proportions. Born on December 31st, he is celebrated as the world's foremost B-Daman inventor, showcasing extraordinary skill in both invention and B-Daman combat. His brilliant intellect contrasts with a marked lack of common sense and a vibrant sense of humor.
He debuts crafting the legendary B-Daman Cobalt Blade amid a storm. When Yamato Delgado and Terry McScotty seek his mentorship, Armada falls into one of Yamato's rudimentary traps, prompting him to accept them as students. He solidifies his mentor role by effortlessly defeating them in a Direct Hit Battle. His first training session teaches simultaneous loading and firing, doubling their rapid-fire capacity.
Initially barring Yamato and Terry from the IBA Winners Tournament, Armada devises an arduous trial: toppling a statue with 100,000 consecutive B-Da Balls. A storm-induced dam crisis transforms this test into a rescue mission for his hometown. Yamato and Terry succeed under duress, winning tournament approval.
Throughout the tournament, Armada supports Yamato, Terry, and allies like Bull Borgnine. He identifies strategic vulnerabilities, such as Berkhart’s disadvantage against Enjyu. Facing financial strain, Armada fails at job attempts—notably eating food meant for waiter service. The group resolves money issues by winning Super Five Field Challenges, though Armada spends much of the prize on food and accessories.
After Cain McDonnell’s party destroys Cobalt Blade, Armada invents the Blaster Core (Zero 2) system. Using Cobalt Blade remnants and the new skeleton, he builds Yamato’s upgraded Cobalt Saber. Post-tournament, upon discovering Wintune’s destruction by the Longhorn gang, Bull’s Helio Breaker is shattered in battle. Armada mentors Bull in repair, leading them to co-create Chrome Raven.
When Yamato’s group defies Armada and Mie to challenge the Neo Shadow Alliance, Armada pursues them in a mobile cat café with Mie and Liena. He deploys Wen and Li for reconnaissance, tracking the group to Meowtra Island. Observing Yamato’s amplified Cobalt Power Blast, Armada orchestrates a trial at Meowtra Temple. Disguised as temple spirits with Mie and Liena, he forces Yamato to demonstrate his enhanced skills. There, he uncovers an arrow-shaped stone tablet pointing to B-Energy—Marda B’s weakness. Armada sends a blaster core skeleton to Yamato’s team before rejoining them.
During Marda B’s conquest, Armada shelters in Neon City. He uses the tablet to open a portal to B-Energy for Yamato’s squad. Injured, Armada appoints Bull to lead Neon City’s defense and loans him his Armada Special B-Daman. They are defeated and petrified by Marda B but restored after Marda Biarce’s downfall, celebrating with the group.
In *Battle B-Daman: Fire Spirits!*, Armada appears post-game, granting players the Legend Blaster after dialogue, continuing his mentorship and technological support.
