Bruno Alessandro is an Italian actor and voice actor, born on December 28, 1935, in Sant'Agostino, in the province of Ferrara, Italy. He began his career as a stage actor before moving to Rome in 1963 to pursue acting full-time. He entered the world of dubbing in 1972 and has since become one of Italy's most prolific and recognizable voice talents.

Alessandro's career is marked by an extensive body of work, spanning thousands of dubbing roles for live-action films and television series. He is the regular Italian voice for renowned actors such as Philip Baker Hall, Brian Cox, and Michael Gambon. In the realm of animation, he is widely known as the Italian voice of the rooster Foghorn Leghorn in the Looney Tunes cartoons from 1996 to 2006. His other prominent dubbing roles include Yoda in the Star Wars: The Clone Wars series and King Triton in several sequels and spin-offs of The Little Mermaid.

In addition to his work as a voice actor, Alessandro has also served as a dubbing director. Notably, he directed the Italian dubbing for episodes 21 through 26 of the anime series Devil Lady.

In 1999, he was awarded the Miglior voce maschile (Best Male Voice) in the television section at the Festival del Doppiaggio Voci nell'Ombra for his work as the voice of Horst Tappert in the series L'ispettore Derrick.
