Description
Tendonman's head is a white bowl filled with tendon—a dish of rice topped with tempura—with two tempura shrimps visibly protruding from it. He wears a brown short-sleeved jumper and brown pants, a pink vest, and a long-sleeved blue shirt underneath. A blue scarf is tied around his neck, and he accessorizes with blue socks and sandals.

His personality is consistently optimistic, confident, and energetic. He frequently dances and sings loudly, displaying kindness and rarely showing anger, even during disagreements with fellow Donburi Trio members. He exhibits bravery, often remaining unafraid in situations that scare others and sometimes teasing them by mentioning ghosts. He strongly dislikes Baikinman, who steals the tempura and rice from his head, causing him distress.

He is a member of the Donburi Trio alongside Katsudonman and Kamameshidon, specializing in shrimp tempura. He carries chopsticks made by his mother, one in each hand, using them to tap his head during dance and occasionally in combat.

His name and behavior derive from a pun on "Chindon'ya," a type of Japanese street performer, accounting for his tendency to sing and dance to attract attention. This trait has influenced other donburi characters, though the pun is most directly tied to him. He has a mother, a trait shared by few non-townsfolk characters in his universe.

He appears in the film "Soreike! Anpanman: Kirakiraboshi no namida."
