Description
Katsudonman, also known as Mr. Cutlet in the English dub, is a recurring character within the Anpanman universe, sporting a distinctive mustache and identified as a member of the Donburi Trio. His character exhibits knowledge, often sharing information based on his observations. He serves as the older brother to Tamagodonman.

Early episodes briefly depicted Katsudonman harboring a crush on Batako, though this trait was not maintained in later appearances.

Debuting in the 1989 film *The Shining Star's Tear*, Katsudonman subsequently became a recurring figure in the television series. He features in multiple franchise films, including *Soreike! Anpanman: Tsumiki-Jō no Himitsu* (1992) and *Soreike! Anpanman: Yōsei Rinrin no Himitsu* (2008). Despite his consistent presence among the core group, he rarely takes center stage, with only a limited number of episodes primarily focused on him or shared with his brother.

In the original Japanese version, Katsudonman occasionally uses English phrases like "Yes!", "No!", "Shut up!", and "Oh My God!" – the latter reflecting the cultural origin of pork cutlets in Japan. The phrase "Oh My God!" was omitted from the Tubi English dub due to differing standards regarding religious references in children's programming. His name originates from "katsudon," the Japanese dish featuring a deep-fried meat cutlet served over rice with scrambled egg.

Katsudonman also appears in the Spanish-dubbed film *Anpanman: Nariz Negra y la melodía mágica*, although his specific voice actor for that dub is unspecified.
