Beyond animation, Mitsuya has an extensive career in dubbing foreign media. He is best known for providing the Japanese voice of Marty McFly, played by Michael J. Fox, for the TV Asahi broadcast editions of the Back to the Future trilogy. He has also dubbed roles for actors such as Tom Hulce in Amadeus and Chris Tucker in The Fifth Element.
