Description
Doramed III, also known as Dora Med III or Dora-med the Third, is a robotic cat from Baghdad, Iraq. He serves as a royal oracle for Saudi Prince Arashin, residing in the prince's palace while keeping his primary home in Baghdad. A graduate of the Robot Academy alongside his group, The Doraemons, he shares a bond with them symbolized by Bestfriend Telecards that enable communication and amplify their collective powers. He has a twin brother named Sindora-bad.
Physically, he matches the cat-model robot design: round head, white face, red nose, and a tail tipped with a red orb. His distinguishing features include a pink body, a thin horizontal mustache with upturned ends, and attire comprising a green turban with a yellow feather, a blue collar with a bell, a green bisht robe adorned with red and yellow triangular patterns on the cuffs and placket, black sirwal trousers, and black Arabian shoes. His fourth-dimensional storage is typically a genie lamp, though he sometimes uses a standard fourth-dimensional pocket.
His personality features a volatile temper; intense anger triggers a transformation into a powerful giant, reversing only when he calms down or upon contact with water. He possesses a significant aquaphobia. Despite this fear, he dreams of building a water park called "Water Land" for desert communities. He prefers freeze-dried dorayaki due to his aversion to liquids, enjoys leisurely magic carpet rides, and exhibits an unexpected fondness for Christmas despite cultural restrictions in his region of employment.
His abilities include proficiency in magic, particularly weather manipulation and freezing objects or adversaries. He utilizes a magic carpet for transportation and a magic lamp. He practices fortune-telling, primarily using tarot cards to predict future events. Beyond aquaphobia, his documented weaknesses include a fear of tornados.
Within The Doraemons, he initially held an antagonistic view of Dorapin, mistakenly perceiving him as a thief. This perception shifted to admiration and trust after witnessing Dorapin protect his lover, Mimimi.
Beyond core appearances with The Doraemons, he features in the film "Dorami & Doraemons: Robot School's Seven Mysteries," where the group is summoned via the Bestfriend Telecard to aid Dorami during disappearances at the Robot Academy. He also appears in other Doraemons media: "Space Land's Critical Event," "The Mysterious Thief Dorapan The Mysterious Cartel," "Mushimushi Pyonpyon Daisakusen!," "Strange, Sweets, Strange?," "Dokidoki Kikansha Daibakusou!," and "Goal! Goal! Goal!!."
