Description
Doramed III, alias Dora-med III, is a robotic feline from the Doraemon universe, crafted at the Matsushiba Robot Factory. As a graduate of the Robot Academy, he joins The Doraemons—a collective of seven robotic cats—while serving as a royal oracle and consultant to Saudi Arabia’s monarchy, operating from a base in Baghdad, Iraq.

He sports a pink robotic feline form with a round head, white facial accents, a crimson nose, and a slender horizontal mustache. His wardrobe combines cultural elements: a green turban striped in yellow with a feather plume, a blue collar bearing a bell, a green bisht embroidered with red and yellow triangular motifs, and traditional Arabian footwear. His signature tool, a four-dimensional genie lamp, mirrors Doraemon’s dimensional pocket functionality, though he intermittently uses conventional pockets.

Prone to explosive outbursts that trigger a colossal transformation, Doramed reverts to normal size upon calming or water exposure. Despite residing in arid terrain, he harbors aquaphobia, favoring freeze-dried dorayaki, yet paradoxically nurtures ambitions of constructing “Water Land,” a desert oasis for children. Additional fears include tornadoes, and he discreetly admires Christmas despite its cultural restrictions in Saudi Arabia.

Skilled in arcane arts, he reads futures through tarot cards and freezes objects at will. His giant form amplifies his might at the cost of increased vulnerability to water mishaps. As a Sunni Muslim with Sufi influences, he stands among anime’s pioneering major Muslim characters, his spiritual practices occasionally contrasting with his penchant for unconventional hobbies.

Within The Doraemons, initial wariness toward Dorapin evolved into respect following the latter’s protective heroics. He shares a twin bond with Sindora-bad and allies with peers like Doraemon and Dora-the-Kid. A pivotal academy-era rescue mission cemented the group’s camaraderie and earned them the Bestfriend Telecard, enabling cross-dimensional collaboration.

Regional adaptations rebrand him as “Dora Metsudo” (Malaysia) or “Doramed Generasi Ke 3” (Indonesia). Cultural juxtapositions define his narrative: aquaphobia clashes with regional rain rituals, while Islamic devotion coexists with Christmas fascination. His design merges Arabian aesthetics with robotic fantasy, establishing him as a distinctive franchise figure.
