Description
Jet Link, designated Cyborg 002, is an Italian-American originating from New York City's West Side. His youth involved delinquency and 1960s gang activity. A lethal gang confrontation forced him to flee police; Black Ghost operatives offered escape but deceived him, transforming him into a cyborg and forging his enduring hatred for the organization.

As part of Black Ghost's 00 Cyborg line, he received high-speed jet boosters in his feet, enabling flight up to 3000 meters at Mach 5. His capabilities include an early prototype Acceleration module allowing brief faster-than-light movement, though with technical limitations, and sufficient strength to carry multiple individuals mid-flight. Physically tall and athletic, he has bright red windswept hair and typically wears a military-style uniform with integrated booster boots.

His personality blends brashness, sarcasm, and a rebellious streak from his street origins, manifesting as combat impulsiveness and reluctance toward authority. Despite this, he demonstrates loyalty to teammates like Dr. Gilmore and fellow cyborgs, showing particular protectiveness toward Cyborg 003 (Françoise Arnoul). A nurturing side surfaces with children, exemplified by his bond with a boy named Jimmy, reflecting guilt over failing vulnerable youth in his delinquent past.

In the "Cyborg 009 VS Devilman" narrative, he investigates demonic disturbances across Japan alongside Cyborgs 004 and 005. While scouting, he detects the High-Teen Number Cyborgs—genetically enhanced antagonists created by renegade Black Ghost scientist Dr. Adams Teufel. Jet reports this threat to Dr. Gilmore, contributing to the team's strategy against converging demonic and cybernetic threats.

His operational role emphasizes aerial scouting and combat support. When the High-Teen Numbers attack, Jet engages them alongside teammates. The conflict escalates as Dr. Adams merges the demon Atun with the comatose Cyborg 0018 (Seth), triggering a larger battle involving Cyborg 009 and Devilman. Jet's actions focus on aerial mobility, situational awareness, and direct combat support against hybrid adversaries.

He faced near-death during the "Underground Empire of Yomi" arc, sacrificing himself to save Cyborg 009 from orbital re-entry; survival came only through Cyborg 001's telepathic intervention, underscoring his underlying loyalty beneath an abrasive demeanor.
