Description
Geronimo Junior, known alternatively as Cyborg 005 or G-Junior, is a Native American originating from the southwestern United States. He confronted harsh employment discrimination because of his heritage, initially finding work as a construction laborer. Black Ghost operatives approached him with deceptive promises of better employment, leading to his abduction. During this event, he was forcibly converted into a cyborg, becoming the fifth unit in Black Ghost's 00 Cyborg series. His inherent physical strength was dramatically amplified by cybernetic enhancements, establishing him as the team member possessing the greatest raw power.

His cybernetic augmentations provide immense physical capabilities, including superhuman strength and durability. His armored skin enables him to lift and hurl massive objects like boulders with ease. Beyond these mechanical upgrades, some continuities propose he possesses an innate sixth sense separate from his cybernetics, allowing him to perceive disturbances in nature or sense the thoughts of others. During the events of "Conclusion: GOD'S WAR," his latent psychic powers were activated by Cyborg 001, further intensifying his physical strength.

Despite his imposing strength and role as the team's physical powerhouse, Geronimo Junior displays a reserved and gentle spirit. He holds a profound reverence for nature and life, frequently engaging in meditation. He typically speaks sparingly, reflecting a thoughtful and observant nature. This contrast between his physical might and his peaceful disposition remains consistent.

After escaping Black Ghost with the aid of Dr. Gilmore and the other cyborgs, he committed himself to opposing Black Ghost's warmongering objectives. His function within the team often involves supplying crucial brute force during missions and combat. In the 1980 film *Cyborg 009: Legend of the Super Galaxy*, he joins the cyborgs' reunion and cosmic voyage to confront the intergalactic menace posed by Zoa, contributing his formidable strength to the team's efforts in space.

Across manga, television series, and films, his background as a victim of discrimination and his subsequent transformation into a cyborg warrior form the foundation of his character. His development underscores his unwavering dedication to protecting life and resisting tyranny, utilizing his enhanced abilities while steadfastly upholding his core principles of peace and connection to the natural world.
