Description
A-ko Magami, also known as Eiko Magami, is a 16-year-old red-haired high school student living in Graviton City. She wears a distinctive sailor-style uniform from her former school. A-ko possesses superhuman strength, speed, near-invulnerability, and enhanced senses, traits linked to her hybrid lineage as the daughter of figures resembling Superman and Wonder Woman. Controlling these powers requires specialized equipment: wristbands regulate her strength, bon bons on her socks maintain power equilibrium, and jet-black Mary Jane shoes enhance her speed and jumping. Without these limiters, her strength becomes uncontrollably destructive, capable of accidentally leveling buildings through minor gestures like a wrist flick.

Her personality blends cheerful politeness and a desire for normalcy with a fiery temper when provoked. She exhibits typical teenage concerns, including a large appetite, chronic oversleeping, and interests in fashion and romance. Her most significant relationship is with C-ko Kotobuki, her constant companion since kindergarten. Though frequently exasperated by C-ko's immaturity, A-ko demonstrates deep loyalty and protectiveness. This bond drives her actions across multiple storylines.

In "Project A-ko 3: Cinderella Rhapsody," A-ko focuses on romance during spring break. She takes a fast-food job to fund new clothes, aiming to attract a boyfriend. This leads her to pursue Kei, a handsome motorcyclist, alongside rival B-ko. Her preoccupation with Kei causes her to neglect C-ko, straining their friendship. The rivalry culminates in a confrontation at the Alpha Cygnans' space hotel, where A-ko accidentally removes her limiters. Her uncontrolled power triggers massive destruction, drawing intervention from the city's defense force. The conflict resolves when Kei reveals his affection for C-ko, leading A-ko to reconcile with her friend and abandon her romantic pursuit.

An alternate continuity ("A-ko the VS" or "Uncivil Wars") depicts her at age 19 as a bounty hunter partnered with B-ko on a desert planet. They hunt giant sand tortoises and wield specialized weaponry, including a sword capable of harming intangible beings. Their dynamic shifts to vitriolic cooperation, particularly during missions to rescue C-ko from space pirates seeking to use her as a vessel for a cult founder.

Across all media, her core motivations remain consistent: balancing extraordinary abilities with aspirations for ordinary life, navigating complex relationships, and protecting C-ko. Her kanji name "Magami" (摩神), translating to "Goddess," reflects her Amazonian heritage and underscores her heroic identity.
