Teryl Rothery is a Canadian actress and voice actress born in Vancouver, British Columbia, on November 9, 1962. Her career in entertainment began at the age of thirteen when she performed in her first musical, Bye Bye Birdie, and she later realized her passion for performing in front of the camera during a CBC Halloween special, Boo, at eighteen. While she is widely recognized for her live-action roles, particularly as Dr. Janet Fraiser on the television series Stargate SG-1, she has also built a substantial body of work as a voice actor in anime and animated productions.
Rothery's voice work in anime is extensive and includes several prominent English dubs from the 1980s and 1990s. She is notably the voice of Eiko "A-ko" Magami in the English dubbed versions of the original Project A-ko movie and its subsequent original video animations.
