Description
Akari Ōzora attends Starlight School, inspired by top idol Ichigo Hoshimiya’s performance at the Mermaid Pisces Coord unveiling concert during elementary school. This motivated her to audition for Starlight School, though she initially failed. Upon enrollment, her early idol career centered on emulating Ichigo, adopting long hair with a pink knotted bow headband. Her debut performance featured a notable error, marking her as the first debutant to falter in her season and the fourth overall in the franchise.

She gradually transitioned from imitation to self-discovery, proclaiming she must "find my own light" in Season 2. This evolution included cutting her hair into a layered bob, later growing it to medium length, and finally styling it into waves with a headband braid, reflecting her independence.

Akari exhibits resilience, cheerfulness, and occasional clumsiness, rebounding from setbacks with determination. Her skills include imitation and weather forecasting, and she enjoys watermelon, chocolate, donuts, mandarin oranges, and curry.

Key relationships involve Ichigo’s mentorship, culminating in Akari’s crowning as Starlight Queen in Season 4. Friendships with former roommate Yū, new roommate and unit mate Sumire Hikami, and fellow unit member Hinaki Shinjo fueled her growth. With Sumire and Hinaki, she formed Luminas, expanding Sumire’s social circle. Later, she mentored Mao Otoha in their unit Skips♪, helping Mao gain confidence to secure her first Premium Rare Coord.

Akari’s journey culminated in becoming Starlight Queen in Episode 177, evolving from admirer to inspirational top idol. Her coronation speech expressed a desire to spread smiles through idol activities, inspired by Ichigo’s example.

Beyond her series, Akari engages in cross-dimensional events. In *Aikatsu on Parade!*, she meets Raki Kiseki—a Star Harmony Academy idol—when Raki’s Aikatsu Pass bridges idol worlds, positioning Akari as an established mentor. She also features in the *Dream Collaboration Festival ~Aikatsu! Series & Pretty Series~* virtual live event alongside protagonists from both franchises.

Trivia notes her April 1 birthday (aligning with April Fool’s Day), her status as the second idol with multiple hairstyle changes, and her unique aura evolution without a new Premium Rare Coord—a franchise first.
