He employed unconventional tactics like switching flight modes for advantage and favored Battroid mode for precision shooting. This prowess extended beyond combat, dominating flight simulator arcade games effortlessly. Captured by Zentradi forces during reconnaissance, Max engineered an escape by disguising his Valkyrie in a Zentradi uniform, revealing ingenuity under pressure. His encounter with Zentradi ace Milia Fallyna proved defining. After defeating her in three consecutive duels—first in mechas, then an arcade game, and finally a knife fight—he proposed instead of delivering a killing blow. Their televised marriage aboard the SDF-1 Macross marked the first human-Zentradi union, catalyzing peace between the species. Post-war, Max and Milia settled in Macross City, starting a family. Their first daughter, Komilia Maria Fallyna Jenius, was born in 2011. That year, the family strategically captured a Zentradi factory satellite, using their infant daughter to instill fear in soldiers unaccustomed to children.
