Shiori Tachibana is a 17-year-old Japanese member of a five-woman cybernetically enhanced team conducting guerrilla attacks against alien invaders called Space Emigrants. She has silver hair and cyan eyes.

In the group, Shiori embodies a motherly role, often knitting sweaters for the others and caring for them in a nurturing way. Her personality is gentle, good-natured, and accommodating, and she spreads good cheer with her mild smile. She remains fundamentally optimistic and is never seen with a tense, serious, or thoughtful expression.

Yet she also exhibits a very carefree and unconcerned character, raising questions about her grasp of their grave situation. She seems slightly overwhelmed by circumstances and sometimes acts in a clumsy or foolish manner.
