TV-Series
Description
Toshimichi Izawa is an overweight individual with buzzcut brown hair and black eyes. He typically wears a purple jacket with a white upper front and black lower front, purple pants with a black stripe, and white boots.

He displays a friendly demeanor and is a hardworking mechanic with a passion for machinery. Izawa serves in the Mobile Rescue Police as a mechanic alongside Hayato Isurugi under the supervision of Jou Kurumada. Their duties include maintaining the Drive Head robots and constructing new support vehicles.

Izawa and Isurugi attended a city car show, inviting Gou Kurumada to join them as a child was needed for a test drive. Their attendance became timely when a rogue self-driving car named Idaten caused an incident. The mechanics built two new support vehicles, Rescue Chainsaw and Rescue Bulldozer, which combine to form Rescue Bull Chainsaw. They operate these vehicles to aid in rescue operations. After completion, the vehicles were deployed during a crisis involving a construction crane manipulated by a Black Chip, though Izawa and Isurugi were disappointed when the White Hope Heavy Blade Stronger, a Synchro Fusion using their new vehicles, damaged them during the resolution.

Izawa participated in operations at Ooguma Dam when it was at risk of bursting and was dispatched to clear a landslide-blocked area. On another occasion, he and Isurugi filmed an introductory video for new Mobile Rescue Police members, collecting footage and discussing the accomplishments of existing personnel.

While researching Black Chips, Izawa and Isurugi analyzed the sound emitted by the chips. Prolonged exposure caused them to temporarily act in an erratic and aggressive manner. They returned to normal after the analysis machine was unplugged, and the incident provided further proof of the chips' danger. When the Transporter Gaia was infected by a Black Chip, Izawa joined the intervention with other Transporter units. During the final confrontation with the supercomputer Ark, Izawa and Isurugi found a route for Gou Kurumada to reach Ark.

In the web series, Izawa assisted with flood rescue efforts caused by the shifting of the earth's axis. In the movie, when the entity Terra attacked the Mobile Rescue Police's cyber network, Izawa assisted Gou Kurumada by operating a simulator from outside the virtual environment alongside Isurugi and Arisa Munakata.

Izawa works closely with fellow mechanic Hayato Isurugi, takes direction from his superior Jou Kurumada, and receives operational commands from Chief Arisa Munakata during rescue missions.
