Description
Hayato Isurugi serves as a mechanic for the Mobile Rescue Police, debuting in Episode 1. He stands tall with short brown hair, brown eyes, and glasses. His outfit features a purple jacket with white on the upper front and black below, matching purple pants with a black stripe, and white boots.

Friendly and hardworking, he exhibits deep passion for machinery. He collaborates closely with fellow mechanic Toshimichi Izawa under supervisor Jou Kurumada's command, maintaining Drive Heads and engineering support vehicles.

At a city car show with Izawa and Gou Kurumada, he witnesses a self-driving car incident. Later, he and Izawa develop Rescue Chainsaw and Rescue Bulldozer, which merge into Rescue Bull Chainsaw for rescue missions. During one operation, Mikoto Ishino's Synchro Fusion with the vehicle damages it, dismaying both mechanics.

He aids critical disaster responses, preventing Ooguma Dam's collapse and clearing landslide debris. With Izawa, he co-produces an introductory video for new Mobile Rescue Police recruits, chronicling team achievements.

Investigating Black Chips, he and Izawa analyze the chips' emitted sound. Prolonged exposure triggers aggressive behavior in both, ceasing only after deactivating the analysis machine—highlighting the chips' danger. When Transporter Gaia falls under Black Chip control, he pilots its Walker Vehicle form to assist other Transporter units. In the final clash against supercomputer Ark, he and Izawa pinpoint a route for Gou to reach Ark.

In the web series, he supports flood rescues following Earth's axis shifts. During Terra's cyber attack on the Mobile Rescue Police in the movie, he externally operates Gou's simulator alongside Izawa and Arisa Munakata.

His surname, Isurugi (石動), combines "stone" and "movement," while Hayato (速人) means "fast person."
