Izumi Hashima is the younger sister of Iori Hashima. She began as a junior high student in class 3A at Honoda Junior High before advancing to Toyogasaki Academy as a first-year. Two years younger than Tomoya Aki, she lived in the same neighborhood as Tomoya and Eriri Sawamura during childhood. Her introduction to otaku culture came when Tomoya gifted her "Little Love Rhapsody 2" and a PlayStation Portable for her birthday, leading her to plunge deeply into otome games and anime fandom. Before embracing otaku hobbies, Izumi displayed an outgoing, active personality, often playing outdoors with boys. After discovering anime and games, she became intensely passionate, enthusiastically discussing her interests, sometimes overwhelming others. She maintains a cheerful, persistent demeanor and shows tenacity in pursuing her goals, despite occasional air-headed or juvenile tendencies. Izumi also demonstrates maturity, balancing her energetic nature with thoughtful decisions. Physically, Izumi appears younger than her age but possesses a developed figure, standing 154–157 cm tall with measurements of B88/W58/H86. She has burgundy hair styled in twin tails secured by white flower hair clips and red-brown eyes. She typically wears her school uniform or casual dresses. Izumi founded and actively participates in the dōjin circle "Fancy Wave." An artistic rivalry with Eriri Sawamura prompted her decision to compete against Eriri at the Winter Comiket and join her brother Iori's professional circle "Rouge en rouge" as an illustrator. After her family's temporary relocation to Nagoya for parental work, she returned to Tokyo, enrolled at Toyogasaki Academy, and joined Tomoya's game development circle, Blessing Software, for their second project. There, she handles key animation, character designs, original drawings, and background art. Though her early artistic skills showed roughness and imbalance unsuitable for commercial release, both Eriri and Tomoya recognized her exceptional potential. Eriri saw her as a significant future threat, while Tomoya considered her his "favorite disciple," believing she could surpass him with development. During Blessing Software's later projects depicted in the finale film, Izumi assumed greater responsibility as primary illustrator following Eriri's departure, contributing to completing their Winter Comiket game. Izumi shares a close, playful relationship with Tomoya Aki, whom she addresses by his first name. She remains deeply grateful to him for introducing her to otaku culture, viewing him as her mentor. Her interactions with Eriri blend rivalry with mutual professional respect, especially during collaborative game development. As Iori Hashima's younger sister, she supports his creative endeavors while maintaining her independent artistic pursuits within Fancy Wave and later within Blessing Software.
