OVA
Description
Himi, also known as Kyo-O or The Lord of Chaos, emerges as the pivotal figure in the third Urotsukidōji OVA, *Return of the Overfiend (Chōjin Densetsu Urotsukidōji: Mirai Hen)*. Destined as the human vessel for the entity Kyō-Ō, she must confront the Chōjin (Overfiend) and determine the fate of the merged worlds after the Chōjin's apocalyptic rebirth. Himi appears as a young child with blonde hair and brown eyes, her innocent demeanor starkly contrasting her role as the embodiment of chaos and destruction.

Her origin ties directly to the post-apocalyptic power struggles under the cyborg tyrant Caesar. Obsessed with controlling power and lineage, Caesar initially suspects his daughter Princess Alector is the Kyō-Ō, but Himi is revealed as the true vessel. Despite her connection to chaos, Himi embodies an "All-Loving Hero" archetype, displaying inherent kindness and purity. This purity manifests in her bond with Princess Alector, who becomes fiercely protective of Himi, highlighting Himi’s innocent presence amid surrounding corruption and violence.

The plot centers on the reformed marauder Buju undertaking a mission to escort Himi to the Chōjin in Osaka, negotiated with Caesar in exchange for Princess Alector. Himi remains a passive yet crucial figure in this cosmic balance. Her safety becomes a focal point: Caesar and the sorcerer Faust seek to exploit her power to kill the Chōjin and dominate the world, while Buju and his companions aim to fulfill her destiny peacefully. Himi’s presence humanizes the group, influencing Buju’s redemption and Idaten’s protective instincts.

Himi’s journey culminates at Osaka, where her identity as Kyō-Ō directly challenges the Chōjin. The confrontation between these entities—representing order and chaos—resolves with Himi’s sacrificial role in restoring equilibrium. Her arc underscores themes of innocence entangled with predestined violence, concluding with her instrumental participation in the world’s rebirth.
