Description
Yuuki Asaba, the younger twin in the Asaba pair, stands 174.1 cm tall and shares a June 20 birthday with his brother Yuuta. His hairstyle—bangs falling across his face—distinguishes him from Yuuta’s center-parted hair. Yuuki’s interests focus on manga, video games, and anime magazines like "Animeja," but he dislikes cleaning and eggplant. Academically disinterested, he avoids failing grades by relying on Yuuta’s notes.
Though athletically capable in basketball, judo, and cooking, he typically avoids sustained effort unless personally motivated by rewards. This indifference complicated his club selection until friends persuaded him to join the manga club, aligning with his passion for the medium despite his poor drawing skills.
Socially laid-back yet often inconsiderate, Yuuki struggles to recognize when his remarks offend others. Beneath this exterior, he shows generosity toward his few passions. He frequently joins Yuuta and Chizuru Tachibana in teasing Kaname Tsukahara. His friendship with Chizuru originated from a chance childhood park meeting, initially hindered by language barriers. They reconnected in high school through shared mischievous tendencies after her return to Japan.
Yuuki exhibits discomfort around girls, particularly sensitive to perfume and makeup scents that induce nausea. Despite this, he develops guarded feelings for Kayo, a former cafeteria worker, prompting uncharacteristic efforts like collecting convenience store stickers for her farewell gift upon her relocation. His inability to express these feelings verbally results in awkward interactions, contrasting his usual demeanor.
He displays dependency on Yuuta, often resting his head on his twin’s shoulder during walks, and initially opposes Yuuta’s romantic pursuits, reflecting protective or possessive tendencies. During their second year, he shares classes with Chizuru and Kaname, later becoming aware of Chizuru’s affection for Masaki Sato.
Yuuki’s core friend group—known since kindergarten—includes Yuuta, Shun Matsuoka, and Kaname. These longstanding relationships anchor his social interactions, though his indifferent personality frequently sparks minor conflicts within the group.
