Description
Ramurin Makiba is a pink anthropomorphic sheep from the Shimajiro franchise, living on Challenge Island and attending Challenge Kindergarten with Shimajiro Shimano and others. Her surname, meaning "ranch," reflects her sheep nature, while her given name blends "lamb" and "dignified."

The daughter of a painter, Ramurin shares his artistic passion, frequently drawing and aspiring to become a painter herself. She has no siblings, a trait she once shared with her friend Mimirin Midorihara.

Ramurin possesses baby pink wool, dark pink droopy ears, and a pink nose. Her attire evolves: she first wears a white polo shirt with a magenta jumpsuit, red shoes, and a large red bow, later switching to a pink bandana. Subsequent outfits include a fuchsia sleeveless hooded jacket with light blue shorts, and finally an orange top with a yellow shirt bearing a magenta "R," paired with a navy skirt and light blue shorts.

Tomboyish and sharply observant, Ramurin often uses the catchphrase "Ayashi" ("Suspicious" or "How fishy"). She is reliable, rarely makes mistakes or breaks promises, and acts as a steady presence. Her interests include sumo and judo, though she fears ghosts and isn't a fast runner. Pudding is her favorite food.

Ramurin shares a close childhood bond with Mimirin Midorihara, demonstrating loyalty by giving Mimirin her favorite ribbon as a farewell keepsake. She also maintains trusting friendships with Shimajiro Shimano and Torippii Sorano during adventures.

Her story concludes in the *Shimajirō Hesoka* finale when she departs Challenge Island in 2012 to move to France with her father, retiring from the franchise and being replaced by Nyakkii. She wears a cream top, pale pink cardigan, aqua bloomers, and pink Mary Jane shoes in her final appearance. She does not feature in later series or films, including *Shimajirō no Wow!* and its related movies.

Her birthday is March 3, coinciding with Japan's "Ohinamatsuri" (Girls' Day), and her zodiac sign is Pisces.
