Saori Suzuki was the former stage name of the Japanese voice actress Saori Sugimoto. Born on November 17, 1964, in Fujisawa, Kanagawa Prefecture, she was affiliated with the talent agency Aoni Production for much of her career.

Her body of work includes a wide range of roles in anime television series, original video animations, and films from the 1980s through the early 2020s. Early in her career, using the name Saori Suzuki, she voiced characters such as Katherine Friedman in the OVA Ninja Ryūkenden (1991) and Kimura Takashi in the television series Kariage-kun (1989). She was also the voice of Catherine Bloom in the Mobile Suit Gundam Wing franchise, appearing in the television series (1995), the OVA Mobile Suit Gundam Wing: Operation Meteor, and the film Mobile Suit Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz.

Under both her stage names, she was closely associated with the character Sanae Minami across multiple entries in the Green Green franchise. She voiced the role in the 2002 OVA, the 2003 television series, the Green Green Character DVD releases in 2003 and 2004, and the 2004 OVA Green Green Thirteen: Erolutions. Her filmography also includes the role of Kaori in the OVA Super Mario no Shōbōtai.

One of her most enduring and prominent roles was as the character Ramurin in the long-running children's series Shima Shima Tora no Shimajirō, a part she played for many years. Following the character's departure from the series, she continued her involvement by voicing a new character, Nyakkii Momoyama. She voiced Nyakkii in numerous Shimajiro theatrical films, starting with Shimajiro and Fufu's Big Adventure in 2013 and continuing with releases almost annually, including Shimajiro and the Whale's Song (2014), Shimajiro and the Mother Tree (2015), and Shimajiro and the Rainbow Oasis (2017). Her final voice role was as Nyakkii in the film Shimajiro and The Prince of Glittering Kingdom, which was released in 2022, after her passing.

Another significant television role was as Kisanta Yamamura in the long-running anime Nintama Rantarō, a role she took over from the 12th season onward. Saori Sugimoto passed away on October 21, 2021.
