Description
Ramurin Makiba is a pink anthropomorphic sheep character from the Shimajiro franchise, introduced as a main character attending Challenge Kindergarten with Shimajiro and friends. She possesses droopy dark pink ears, a forehead tuft, light pink wool, and a pink nose. Her attire evolved: initially a white short-sleeved shirt with a magenta jumpsuit and red shoes, later a fuchsia sleeveless jacket with a yellow hood and light blue shorts, and finally an orange long-sleeved top under a yellow shirt bearing a magenta "R," paired with a navy skirt and light pink socks.

Reliable, observant, and sharp-eyed, she often utters her catchphrase "Ayashi" ("Suspicious" or "How fishy...") when detecting unusual situations. A tomboy with a responsible demeanor, she rarely makes mistakes. She is not a fast runner and fears ghosts. Her hobbies include drawing, her favorite food is pudding, and she enjoys sports like sumo and judo.

An only child born on March 3, her surname "Makiba" means "ranch," while "Ramurin" combines "ramu" (lamb) and "rin" (dignified). She maintains close relationships, trusting Shimajiro during adventures and sharing a childhood friendship with Mimirin; before leaving Challenge Island, she gave Mimirin her favorite ribbon as a keepsake. She is also friends with Torippii and Marurin.

Her departure occurred in the final episode of "Shimajiro Hesoka" (episode 99, "Goodbye, Ramurin"), moving to France with her painter father. This exit marked her retirement from the franchise, with Nyakkii introduced as her replacement. After 2012, she made a single brief cameo in "Shimajiro the Movie: Adventures on Magic Island" (2018), standing beside Nikki. She does not appear in later media, including "Shimajiro to Ururu no Heroland" (2019).
