Movie
Description
Ramurin Makiba, an anthropomorphic sheep, sports baby pink wool, dark pink drooping ears, and a soft pink nose. Introduced as a kindergartner at Challenge Kindergarten, she remained a central figure in the main cast until her 2012 exit, succeeded by Nyakkii. Her visual design transformed across episodes: she debuted in a white short-sleeved shirt, magenta jumpsuit, and red shoes; later adopted a fuchsia sleeveless jacket with a yellow hood and light blue shorts; switched to an orange top paired with a navy skirt; and concluded her appearances in a cream-colored top, pale pink cardigan, and aqua bloomers.

Ramurin’s tomboyish demeanor pairs with keen observational skills, often punctuating her suspicions of others’ motives with her signature phrase, *“Suspicious…”*. Renowned for reliability and precision, she stands out for her consistent competence. Her closest bonds include Shimajiro Shimano, her steadfast adventure ally, and Mimirin Midorihara, a childhood friend. Before departing Challenge Island, Ramurin entrusted Mimirin with her cherished ribbon, a token of their unbroken friendship.

Born March 3—coinciding with Japan’s Ohinamatsuri festival—her Pisces zodiac reflects her creative inclinations. She favors drawing and adores pudding, balances sumo and judo despite sluggish running speed, and harbors a fear of ghosts. As one of two sibling-free main characters, this distinction shifted solely to Mimirin after Ramurin’s departure. Her name merges *“Makiba”* (ranch) with *“Ramurin”*, blending *“ramu”* (lamb) and *“rin”* (dignified).

Ramurin’s story concluded in *Shimajirō Hesoka* (episode 99), where she debuted her final outfit before exiting the series.
