Tamami Rakow leads the all-female Rakow Pirates, a crew defined by her own straightforward personality. She possesses a strong sense of duty and humanity, and is steadfastly intolerant of anything she deems illogical. Her faction is a participant in the Urdr-Hunt, a race with a prize so vast it could purchase an entire colony. A member of her crew, Quential Xhosa, acts as a guide for the competition.
