Luluka Moria, who transforms into Cure Arcana Shadow, is one of the four main Precure in the series Star Detective Precure!. She is a quiet and mysterious girl with a laid-back, unconventional personality; she does not speak much but carries a passionate heart beneath her calm exterior. Her favorite food is ice cream, and she is frequently seen enjoying it even in tense situations. Despite being a Precure, Luluka is a member of the Phantom Thieves' Guild, an antagonistic group that steals treasured objects containing Makoto Jewels. This makes her the first main-team Cure in the franchise to be openly aligned with a villainous faction from the start. Her partner fairy is Mashutan, a fox-like creature who accompanies her. Luluka uses a Pre-Kit Gloss to disguise herself when assisting the Phantom Thieves in their heists. She was formerly a highly skilled Star Detective working for the CUREtto Detective Agency, possibly at its London branch, where she solved many difficult cases. Something caused her to leave that life and join the Phantom Thieves, and the full reasons behind this change remain a central mystery of her character arc. Within the Phantom Thieves, she has a mentor-like relationship with Goemon, who takes her along on missions and occasionally asks for her help in acquiring Makoto Jewels without causing emotional harm. Her transformation into Cure Arcana Shadow is triggered by the Tear Arcana Rod, and her design features a black-themed magical girl outfit with tarot-card and celestial imagery. As Cure Arcana Shadow, her primary attack is Arcana Star Rain, which she uses to fire beams of energy. She often secretly aids the other Cures during battles, such as shooting down projectiles to protect her allies without revealing her identity. Over the course of the series, her interactions with Anna Akechi, Mikuru Kobayashi, and Cure Eclair gradually deepen, and her true loyalties and motivations become a key part of the story's development.
