He is a sixteen-year-old boy who holds the status of a count's son and is a childhood friend of both Iana Magnolia and Konoha Magnolia, having grown up alongside them due to the friendship between their fathers.
His origin is deeply tied to the real-world author of the story's fictional world, Konoha Sato. He was created by Konoha Sato during her past life as a character born from her fascination with the idea of being killed by a handsome villain, a concept that represents an evolution of her adolescent interests. Within the original "Dark History" narrative, Yomi's role was to seek revenge for the execution of the villainess Iana by targeting the life of the heroine, Konoha. He is also the one who originally discovered the forbidden book known as the "Dark History" and arranged for it to be delivered, setting the main events of the story in motion.
