Description
Clen is the humanoid disguise and traveling name used by Clevatess, one of the four immortal Beast Kings, specifically known as the Clevatess of the Moonlight who rules over the southern badlands from a region called Luna Mountain. For a long period, Clen lived in isolationist seclusion, showing complete indifference to humanity and never deliberately attacking human settlements as long as no one invaded his territory. This changed when the king of the kingdom of Haiden, also referred to as Naie or Hyden, fearing the Beast King's power, sent an expedition of thirteen heroes armed with a supreme treasure capable of wounding him. Before retaliating, Clen attempted to reason with the king to understand humanity's essence but was rejected, leading him to conclude that humans were greedy and sinful. In response to the unprovoked attack, Clen annihilated the heroes and destroyed the kingdom's capital.
In the aftermath of the destruction, Clen discovered a human infant in the rubble, the crown prince and last pure-blooded heir of the royal family.
