Description
Lilith, also known as Punk-02, is a significant character introduced during the Egghead Arc. She is one of the six satellites, or remote-controlled分身 (bunshin), created by the renowned scientist Dr. Vegapunk. Each satellite embodies a specific aspect of Vegapunk's personality, and Lilith represents the element of "evil". Her name is derived from the figure in Mesopotamian and Judaic mythology often described as a primordial demon, fitting her designated role.

In terms of appearance, Lilith looks like a young woman with wild, light-colored hair. Her standard attire consists of a form-fitting pink jumpsuit with "Punk-02" printed on the left breast, worn under a dark purple hooded coat. She also wears black gloves, purple boots, and a red aviator helmet with goggles, which she often uses when piloting her mecha. Like the other satellites, she has an earpiece and antenna on her left ear for communication.

Lilith's personality is a direct manifestation of Vegapunk's more ruthless, pragmatic, and greedy traits. She is impulsive, short-tempered, and highly combative, often acting aggressively without fully analyzing a situation. For example, she is quick to suggest handing over the Straw Hat Pirates to the assassin Rob Lucci and eagerly wants to fight the CP0 agents to avenge a fallen satellite. Her main goal for much of her early introduction is to secure research funding, which she does by plundering pirates who trespass into Egghead's waters, seeing nothing wrong with this approach. Despite her "evil" designation, Lilith is not inherently malicious. She genuinely cares for her fellow satellites, showing great relief when Edison is saved from danger and mourning the deaths of Shaka and Pythagoras, with whom she often bickered. She is also prone to crying, revealing a softer and more emotional side beneath her tough exterior. She has a unique speaking style, using "washi," a first-person pronoun typically associated with elderly men, which contrasts with her youthful appearance.

Lilith plays a central role in the Egghead Arc. She is the first satellite the Straw Hat Pirates encounter when they arrive on the island, initially introducing herself as Dr. Vegapunk himself. After a brief confrontation, she follows the instructions of Shaka (the "good" satellite) and transports the Thousand Sunny to the island's upper levels. Throughout the arc, she participates in testing the Seraphim against the crew, argues with Shaka over tactics, and eventually fights alongside the Straw Hats when the World Government launches an assault to eliminate Vegapunk. She is temporarily turned to stone by the Seraphim S-Snake but is later freed. In the climax of the arc, she is one of only two surviving satellites, escaping Egghead aboard the Thousand Sunny with the Straw Hat Pirates as they head to their next destination, Elbaf.

Her key relationships are primarily with the other Vegapunk satellites. She has a notable rivalry with Shaka, the embodiment of "good," frequently clashing with his more cautious and ethical approach. She is also a suspect in the traitor investigation due to her aggressive nature, though the true betrayer is later revealed to be York, the satellite representing "greed". Her relationship with the Straw Hat Pirates evolves from antagonist to ally, as she eventually fights on their side to escape the island.

As a creation of the world's smartest man, Lilith possesses immense technological prowess. She pilots a large mecha called the Vegaforce-01, which is strong enough to lift the Thousand Sunny and can function both on land and underwater. She also commands a fleet of cybernetically enhanced Sea Beasts, which she uses to surround and loot enemy ships. Her personal weapon of choice is a "Bubble Gun," which fires special bubbles made of sea energy. These bubbles are highly durable, can deflect attacks, and can neutralize the powers of any Devil Fruit user on contact, making them a formidable tool in combat. While intelligent and well-equipped, it has been noted by Shaka that her combat abilities have limits, and she would be outmatched by high-level fighters like Roronoa Zoro.
