Description
Hana Bradley is a major character in Kindergarten WARS, serving as a special teacher for the Dandelion class at the kindergarten. She is a young woman of moderate stature, standing 153 centimeters tall, with short black hair that is slightly parted on the right side and features unevenly cut bangs reaching her mid-forehead. She often secures her hair with a clip on the left side. At work, she wears the standard teacher uniform, which consists of a long-sleeved white polo shirt, a black necktie, and a black apron bearing the word for Dandelion.

Hana is the youngest daughter of the Bradley family, a renowned and ruthless lineage of assassins with a strict policy of never forgiving failure. She was raised in this harsh environment, receiving a killer's education from a young age alongside her older brother, Shaw Bradley, who was her sole emotional support and the person she trusted most. After a mission went wrong, Hana and her brother were hunted by their own family. Hana was captured and subsequently sent to work at the kindergarten, while her brother was detained by their father.

Initially, Hana is a cold and distant person, preferring to work alone. This demeanor stems from her upbringing, where she was considered a failure and felt isolated within her own family. However, after working with her colleagues Rita and Doug, her way of thinking begins to change, and she gradually learns to trust others. She is generally relaxed and kind but takes her responsibilities very seriously.

Her primary motivation for joining the kindergarten staff was to secure the help of Rita and Doug to rescue her captured brother. In a moment of desperation, Hana's father offered her a deal to kill Rita in exchange for being accepted back into the family. She briefly betrayed her colleagues, but her father ultimately betrayed her as well, shooting her. After being saved by Rita, Hana finally broke ties with her father. Following the resolution of her family conflict, she formally became a teacher at the kindergarten, vowing to protect the children to atone for the lives she had previously taken. Her long-term goal is to be reunited with her brother after he completes his prison sentence.

Hana possesses a unique and formidable combat style that sets her apart from her colleagues. Instead of relying solely on firearms, her arsenal consists of grenades and a metal bat. Her signature technique is to pull the pin from a grenade and strike it with the bat, launching the explosive at her targets with incredible force and accuracy. This ability allows her to perform feats such as shooting down a helicopter. Her combat skills are high enough to defeat ordinary assassins with a single blow, though she is considered less powerful than her colleague Rita.

Within the story, Hana plays the role of a junior colleague to Rita and Doug. Her key relationships are central to her development. She holds great respect for her brother, Shaw, and for her senior colleague, Gordon Z. Sky. She is also intimidated by the principal, Erina Winkler.

Her relationship with Doug is complex. Initially, she teases him for being less skilled than the other teachers. However, after he saves her life during a mission, she develops a romantic crush on him. Having grown up in an environment devoid of normal emotional experiences, Hana does not recognize this feeling as love and instead believes she has a cold, a misunderstanding encouraged by another colleague who enjoys watching the drama unfold. Later in the series, her romantic situation evolves as she becomes the object of affection for her colleague Natsuki Inomoto. Hana eventually comes to understand her own feelings and accepts Natsuki's confession, beginning a new romantic relationship with her.

Her relationship with Rita is one of strong friendship and mutual confidence. Hana is confident in Rita's legendary abilities as a former assassin known as the Witch. Rita, in turn, is the one who ultimately saves Hana from her family's betrayal and gives her a second chance at life. This event solidifies their bond and Hana's loyalty to the kindergarten.

Through her experiences, Hana undergoes significant character development. She transforms from a solitary, emotionally stunted assassin into a more open and caring individual who values her colleagues and has found a place where she is no longer alone. Her growing understanding of romantic love marks a major step in her personal growth, as she learns to navigate feelings she never knew she had.
