Description
The Orc from Machida is a supporting character in the anime Kanagawa Elves. He is a male adult orc who lives in Machida, a city on the western edge of Tokyo within the greater Tokyo metropolitan area. In the same period that elves whose forest home had burned down relocated to Kanagawa Prefecture, a group of orcs also moved to Machida, placing him within the same wave of supernatural beings settling openly into modern Japanese city life. Unlike the elves, who are usually associated with greener and more idyllic surroundings, the Orc from Machida is an urban orc who has fully adapted to life in the capital.
