Description
Ginko Momose is a student at Hasunosora Girls' High School and a member of the school's Idol Club, specifically belonging to the unit Cerise Bouquet. She is in the 104th generation of students, having entered the school as a first-year before advancing to her second year.

Ginko comes from a family in Kanazawa that practices the traditional craft of Kaganui embroidery, a skill she also enjoys and is learning herself. Her grandmother, a significant influence in her life, was a former student of Hasunosora and a member of the Performing Arts Club, which is the predecessor to the current School Idol Club. This deep connection to her family's and the school's history is central to her identity. Having grown up surrounded by older people, she had little experience making friends her own age before entering high school.

In terms of personality, Ginko is characterized by her deep love for tradition. She has a formal and serious demeanor that can sometimes be mistaken for aloofness or stubbornness. This is partly due to her struggle with being completely honest about her feelings, as she fears coming across as annoying or causing trouble for others. She also has a tendency to try and go with the flow to avoid being seen as strange, which can make her seem rigid. She does not handle compliments well, often reacting with a flustered or tsundere-like denial, particularly from her classmate and fellow club member, Kaho Hinoshita. Despite this prickly exterior, she is a caring individual who is simply not accustomed to close peer relationships.

Ginko's primary motivation for joining the School Idol Club was not an initial passion for modern school idols, but rather a desire to inherit and preserve the traditions of her grandmother's Performing Arts Club. This led her to enroll at Hasunosora in the first place. Her journey in the club includes an early period of doubt; she nearly left upon believing that a song her grandmother loved, The Song of the Other Side, had been lost. It was through the efforts of her new friends, who discovered that the song had evolved into Reflection in the mirror, that she understood the old club's spirit lived on. This event solidified her commitment, leading her to officially join Cerise Bouquet after being invited by Kaho Hinoshita.

Throughout the story, Ginko develops meaningful relationships, most notably with her unit mate, Kaho Hinoshita. While initially overwhelmed by Kaho's openness and positivity and prone to pushing her away, this relationship is key to her personal growth. She also has a close connection to her grandmother, whose legacy she strives to honor. Later in her first year, she begins to take on a significant practical role within the club by designing and creating stage outfits for the entire group, utilizing her skills in Kaga embroidery and her love for Japanese clothing design. This allows her to support the club with her unique talents.

Ginko possesses several notable abilities. Her family's craft of Kaganui embroidery is a particular specialty, and she is skilled in designing and making clothes. She also has training in traditional Japanese dance. In her leisure time, she enjoys taking long walks to admire historical architecture, such as shrines and temples, and frequents coffee shops. She also has a somewhat childlike habit of talking to a round crane plushie she keeps in her room. She typically speaks standard Japanese but is known to slip into the Kanazawa dialect, especially when surprised or speaking with her family.
