ONA
Description
Emu Ōtori is a central character from the comedic mini-anime series, a spin-off of a popular rhythm game. Her background is deeply tied to Phoenix Wonderland, a theme park owned by her wealthy family, where she spent much of her childhood developing a love for performance and creating joyful memories with her older sister. At the start of her first year of high school at Kamiyama High School at age fifteen, she becomes acutely aware of the park's declining state and takes it upon herself to recruit others to form a performance troupe to revive it.

Emu is characterized by her overwhelmingly energetic and spontaneous personality, often acting on her enthusiastic ideas without hesitation. While this boundless energy can initially clash with more reserved individuals, it is underpinned by a genuinely caring and supportive nature that helps bring her group together. Her primary motivation is to spread wonder and smiles to others, with her ultimate goal being to save Phoenix Wonderland from closure or demolition through the power of their shows.

In the story, Emu serves as the driving force behind the formation of the performance troupe Wonderlands x Showtime. She assembles the group by recruiting her key teammates, including the dramatic and ambitious Tsukasa Tenma, who shares her passion for reviving the park and becomes her best friend and leader figure. She also partners with the inventive Rui Kamishiro, whose creative stage designs help turn her wild concepts into reality, forming a dynamic creative duo. Her relationship with the shy Nene Kusanagi evolves from initial awkwardness to a sisterly dynamic, as Emu's encouragement helps Nene overcome her stage fright. Outside the troupe, her older sister provides a stable, grounding influence, offering advice on balancing school life with her performance duties while supporting her dreams.

Throughout her journey, Emu develops from an enthusiastic but impulsive girl into a determined leader. A key moment in her development is leading the troupe in a high-stakes performance against rival groups during the Wonderful Stage Revolution event at age sixteen, an act that successfully saves Phoenix Wonderland from demolition and solidifies her commitment to her mission. Her notable abilities lie not in any supernatural power but in her immense energy and emotional intelligence. She has a unique talent for uniting people, inspiring her teammates with her confidence, and gently encouraging her friends' more eccentric or timid traits for the benefit of their collective performances.
