Description
Chima is a member of the rare species *Czeschka maticarna*, distinguished by its small stature, blue fur, large ears, and overall fox-like appearance. Initially confined for sale at an auction, it encountered Marlya Noel, who offered it kindness through touch. When the cage door malfunctioned, Chima seized the chance to escape. It then chose to follow Marlya Noel, remaining constantly by her side as a companion.

Marco Bellwood later identified its species and complex biological classification, prompting Marlya to adopt the simpler name "Chima." The species possesses the unique sensory ability to detect fairies through scent alone, without specialized equipment, making it valuable for locating fairy primordials. This ability aligns with traits seen in Suna village individuals, though Chima itself is non-human.

Within the Dorothea agency's operations, Chima's presence with Marlya proved useful in investigations involving fairy-related activities. It consistently accompanied Marlya, functioning in a supportive role during her missions. Its documented narrative focuses solely on its origin at the auction, its attachment to Marlya, and its specialized sensory function.
