Libra Dohko is the Gold Saint of the Libra constellation in the anime Saint Seiya: Knights of the Zodiac - Battle for Sanctuary Part 2. During his long vigil, Dohko adopted the role of a wise hermit, known to locals as the Master Elder, and took on the training of the young Shiryu, who would become the Dragon Saint. In his youth, Dohko was more impulsive and vivid, but centuries of meditation and responsibility have made him serene, thoughtful, and deeply strategic. He is a trusted adviser to other saints, particularly Aries Mu, with whom he shares a close bond as a fellow disciple of Shion. In the events of Battle for Sanctuary Part 2, Dohko plays a pivotal role as the war against Hades escalates. When the seal breaks and Specters attack the Sanctuary, he abandons his long watch and travels to the Sanctuary, where he confronts his resurrected friend Shion, who has been brought back as a Specter. Dohko breaks his Misopethamenos state, reverting to his young, powerful form to fight on equal terms. He then joins the other Gold Saints in the assault on the Underworld, ultimately sacrificing his life alongside his fellow Gold Saints to destroy the Wailing Wall, allowing the Bronze Saints to reach Athena.
