ONA
Description
Bel Daizora, known in the original Japanese version as Bell Daikokuten, is the main protagonist of the Beyblade Burst QuadStrike anime. He is a young boy who lives in a large mansion called Phantom's Gate, which he deliberately cultivates rumors about to attract strong Blader opponents. His self-given titles are the Dark Prince or the Demon King, reflecting his love for theatricality and dramatic presentations of himself and his battles.

In appearance, Bel is short in stature with very distinctive multi-colored hair featuring a prominent red mohawk, dark-purple strands, and magenta rhombus-shaped highlights. These highlights glow when he is deeply resonating with his Beyblade. He has pale skin, turquoise eyes, and black eyeliner. His attire is equally flamboyant, consisting of an asymmetrical gray shirt with a long right sleeve and a rolled-up left sleeve displaying a magenta cat-style skull design. He wears a black Dracula-style cape with a red interior, dark-gray pants with straps on each leg, azure and yellow striped socks, white boots with crimson soles, and a fingerless maroon glove on his left hand.

Bel's personality is defined by a striking contrast between his fearsome self-presentation and his actual character. Despite his titles and intimidating persona, he is not malicious or sinister. Instead, he is an eccentric, socially awkward boy who has a deep love for pranks and mischief. He frequently sets elaborate traps and pranks throughout Phantom's Gate for his own amusement, targeting friends and visitors alike. However, he is also intensely proud of his Blading skills and has a powerful thirst for victory. He hates losing and becomes genuinely distressed or depressed after defeats, though he often tries to reframe them as preparation for future success. Bel has a tendency to follow his own whims, often disregarding rules or social conventions to challenge strong Bladers or see new things. Despite his arrogance, he has a deep respect for accomplished Bladers such as Valt Aoi, Free De La Hoya, and Shu Kurenai, drawing inspiration from them to upgrade his own Beyblade.

In the story of QuadStrike, Bel reclaims his role as the main protagonist after having lost his World Champion title to Aiger Akabane. Following this loss, he evolves his Beyblade, Devastate Belfyre, into a new form called Divine Belfyre Squadron-Q Guard-Q+Adventure-3, and later into Destined Belfyre D Gear-Q Gyro-Q+VS Gear-2'. His primary antagonist in this season is Xander Shakadera, engaging in repeated battles with him. The narrative also shifts focus to his rivalry with the masked Blader Quadra Forsythe, the persona of a girl named Pri Forsythe, who becomes a significant figure in his journey.

Key relationships in his life include his grandfather, Jinemon Daizora, who lives with him at Phantom's Gate, shares his prankster nature, and provides crucial emotional support during difficult times. His relationships with rivals are complex and formative. The destruction of his original Beyblade, Destruction Belfyre, at the hands of Rashad Goodman was a pivotal and traumatic event that drove much of his early development. He also develops a significant rivalry with Phelix Payne, which begins with animosity but eventually evolves into an unexpected friendship. Throughout his journey, he is supported by allies such as Ranzo Kiyama and Bashara Suiro, though his eccentric personality can sometimes strain these connections.

Bel undergoes notable development throughout his story arc. The destruction of his original Beyblade plunges him into weeks of depression, from which his grandfather helps him recover, leading him to rebuild his Bey as Devastate Belfyre. His rivalry with Phelix Payne also marks a softening of his demeanor, as he actively pursues Phelix to reconcile and later openly supports him in battles. This shows a capacity to move beyond solitary pride and form genuine connections with former adversaries.

As a Blader, Bel relies heavily on technical innovation rather than physical training. His primary ability is his engineering prowess, which allows him to create system-compatible upgrades for his Beyblade, including the Evolution Gears and components of the Overdrive System. He also customizes his own launchers, such as the Full Custom BeyLauncher LR, to increase rotational power. His notable special moves include Destruction Wrecker, a high-speed strike with the Destruction Blade, and various attacks like Venture Shoot, Venture Flash, and Devastate Dive, which often involve building up tremendous speed around the stadium rim or using gravity to increase the power of an attack. His connection with his Beyblade, Belfyre, is exceptionally strong, allowing for a telepathic bond and deep emotional resonance that enhances his performance in battle.
