Marco Eßer is a German voice actor known for his extensive work in dubbing, particularly providing the German voices for numerous characters in anime series and films. Born on December 12, 1996, in Karlsruhe, Germany, he began his career in voice acting at a young age, with his first dubbing role in 2006 for the Nickelodeon children's series Backyardigans.

Eßer has built a substantial portfolio in anime dubbing. He is recognized for his role as the voice of Shidou Itsuka across multiple installments of the Date A Live franchise, including Date A Live III and the film Date A Live: Mayuri Judgement. He also voices Prince Daida in the fantasy series Ranking of Kings and its follow-up, Ranking of Kings: The Treasure Chest of Courage. His other notable anime roles include Kineshi Hairo in The Disastrous Life of Saiki K.: Reawakened, Dr. Hedo in the film Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, Bel Daizora in Beyblade Burst QuadDrive, and Minoru in the film Fireworks, Should We See It from the Side or the Bottom?.

His work in anime also extends to other major productions. He is the German voice for Amuro Ray in Mobile Suit Gundam: Cucuruz Doan's Island and has voiced characters in series such as JoJo's Bizarre Adventure (as Smokey Brown) and Junji Ito "Collection". He has also been cast in prominent newer anime series, taking on the lead role of Jin-Woo Sung in the German dubbed version of Solo Leveling.

In addition to his anime work, Eßer is the regular German dubbing voice for actors such as Timothée Chalamet, Justice Smith, and Michael Cimino. He is also active as an audiobook and radio play narrator, most notably voicing the character Greg Heffley in the German radio play series based on the Diary of a Wimpy Kid books.
