Description
Nagi Rokuya is a 19-year-old member of IDOLiSH7, representing the number six with the natural music symbol. He is half-Japanese and half-Northmeran, hailing from the fictional Northern European country of Northmare. Standing 180 cm tall with blood type AB, his birthday is June 20. He enjoys anime and games but dislikes Japan's heat and medical injections.
Born Nagi Valhart von Northmeir, he is the second prince of Northmare. His royal status isolated him during childhood, leading to loneliness and few friends. Tens of thousands attended his birthday celebrations in Northmare. His mother was Japanese, and he has multiple siblings, including an older brother with whom he shares a strained relationship. Due to his position, he received training in hand-to-hand combat, firearms, and assassination prevention. Before joining IDOLiSH7, he participated in monthly public meetings in Northmare and worked in cultural exchange within a cultural enclave.
He moved to Japan to deliver compositions by the ailing Haruki Sakura (Zero's composer) to Takanashi Productions, fulfilling a promise made during Sakura's visit to Northmare. Near the agency, he met Otoharu Takanashi and expressed interest in hearing his proposal, leading to his recruitment.
A passionate enthusiast of Japanese pop culture, especially anime, his room overflows with figurines and merchandise; Mahou Shoujo Magical★Kokona is his favorite series. He confidently describes himself as "sexy and elegant" and frequently flirts with women, though he has never dated. Despite his flamboyant personality, he possesses keen political awareness and excels in public speaking, later becoming Takanashi Productions' PR manager. He fluently speaks eight languages: Northmarean, English, German, Norwegian, French, Italian, Japanese, and Chinese.
He treasures his IDOLiSH7 members as his first genuine friends, initiating a nightly ritual of hugging each before sleep, visiting their rooms if needed. This includes deliberately touching Iori Izumi's buttocks to provoke a reaction. He reads fan letters in Mitsuki Izumi's room and accompanies Iori on walks to see stray cats, as small animals are drawn to him. He relies on others for practical tasks, having never prepared food before joining the dormitory and struggling during a butler job by unintentionally assuming a master's role.
He fears ghost stories; after jokingly requesting "chilling stories," Sogo Osaka began reading him "100 Ghost Stories" nightly, a ritual Nagi feels compelled to continue to avoid misfortune. During costume fittings for Pythagoras☆Fighter, he repeatedly pulled up Mitsuki Izumi's hood. Comments comparing Mitsuki's size to go-karts resulted in Mitsuki kicking his buttocks.
He supported the group during challenges, assisting with scriptwriting for Ainana Academy and leveraging his royal-honed public speaking skills to address tensions at press conferences. His combat training proved vital when he protected Yamato Nikaido from a sniper during a bomb threat, forcefully subduing attackers attempting to reveal his identity.
