ONA
Description
Arshes Nei, known as the Thunder Empress, is a half-human, half-dark elf hybrid rejected by both races from birth. Her given name, Nei, means “no” or “not true,” reflecting this early scorn. As a child, she was taken in by the legendary sorcerer Dark Schneider, who raised her as his own daughter and bestowed the name Arshes upon her. Over time, their bond evolved into a romantic relationship, and she became his most loyal follower and one of his chief commanders. Fierce, stern, and merciless in battle, she wields immense power in air and lightning magic, with spells such as Balvolt, Thunder Riot, Gilbert, Wolfgang, Raven, Megadeth, and Helloween, the last of which requires a full moon to open a gate of hell for a massive energy blast. She also commands Def Leppard's Black Liquid Lightning Sphere, a dimensional portal that absorbs all magical energy. In addition to her magical prowess, Arshes Nei is a master swordswoman skilled in the secret Hariken Swordsmanship school, wielding the legendary Raijin-Ken, the Lightning God Sword inhabited by the Nue elemental. Her sword techniques include the Raging Dragon Slayer Strike, the Super Ballistic Thunder Strike, and the Highest of Mysteries Imperial Sword Eagle Claw Strike. Her hybrid lineage grants her a greatly extended lifespan, making her appear in her mid-twenties despite being over a century old. Initially serving the Dark Rebel Army under a curse placed by Dark Priest Abigail that would turn her into a toad if she betrayed them, she fought against Dark Schneider. In a dramatic act, he ripped out his own heart and sprinkled her with his blood, breaking the curse and rekindling her devotion. She then rejoined him to prevent the awakening of the god of destruction, Anthrax. Her deep love for Dark Schneider is absolute, though she is frustrated by his womanizing. Over the course of the story, she moves from a conflicted antagonist to a crucial ally, and her loyalty remains unwavering even across major time skips, during which she pursues the former ally Kall-Su.
