ONA
Description
Ann is a central character introduced in the Forest Land narrative arc of the series. She is the princess of Forest Land, the daughter of the deposed King Jam and the demon Lilith, who was a princess among demons. This heritage makes her the niece of Beelzebub, the demon prince, a familial connection that is revealed over the course of the story and adds an unusual dynamic to their relationship.

Having grown up in a royal environment, Ann’s life was upended by a coup d'état orchestrated by Supreme Commander Bred and a rogue angel named Muniel, who manipulated public opinion against her father’s peaceful policies. Her mother was sealed within a magical urn, her father was imprisoned, and Ann was forced into hiding, becoming a member of the resistance fighting against the new dictatorial rulers of Forest Land. These rulers sought to weaponize a powerful substance called aquanium to achieve absolute control.

In terms of personality, Ann is portrayed as clever, fearless, and tactically minded, with a strong sense of compassion and bravery. She shares a notable resemblance in personality to Beelzebub, as both are stubborn, somewhat immature, and royal heirs trying to live up to their roles, which leads to them frequently butting heads. Despite her difficult circumstances, she proves to be a kind individual who genuinely cares for her people, even those who have been turned against her due to her demon heritage. Her true passion, however, lies not in politics or combat, but in engineering and mechanics; she is a gifted mechanic who loves to tinker with and improve any technology she encounters.

Ann’s primary motivation throughout the story is to liberate her father, King Jam, and restore the peaceful rule to Forest Land. She is first encountered trying to secure a rod of aquanium from the forces of Commander Bred, a mission where she meets Beelzebub, the human sheriff Rao, and the demon Thief. She enlists their help, forming a key alliance with them. Her relationships with these characters evolve significantly; she becomes a vital companion to the group, and the story concludes with her traveling alongside Rao, Thief, and Beelzebub as she pursues her dream of becoming a full-fledged engineer.

Due to her mixed human-demon lineage, Ann possesses special abilities that set her apart. When she taps into her demonic powers, her eyes visibly change color, and she exhibits enhanced physical capabilities such as faster reflexes and greater durability than an ordinary human. She is also a talented and fearless driver. Her most significant contribution, however, is her technical expertise. In the climax of the Forest Land conflict, it is her engineering skill that saves the day, converting the destructive potential of multiple aquanium reactors into a nearly endless supply of water for the land.
