The turning point occurs when Hydrophant witnesses Ignite Leo, an Energy Master allied with the Dinosaur Tribe, brutally attacking Lightlong and Optimus Prime. Unable to bear watching his friends being hurt any longer, he finally overcomes his fear. He transforms into his robot mode for the first time, blasting Ignite Leo with a powerful stream of water and vowing to make a stand to protect what is important to him. Having forged a bond with Optimus Prime, he then undergoes Wildocking, a process of combination, merging with the Autobot leader to become Lightning Aqua Optimus. In this combined form, their electrically charged water attack is powerful enough to defeat their enemy.
