Description
Porco Galliard, an Eldian born around 835 within Liberio's internment zone, was the younger brother of Marcel Galliard. Both brothers trained as candidates for Marley's Warrior Unit. During training, Porco frequently bullied fellow candidate Reiner Braun, viewing him as untalented and unworthy of becoming a Warrior. Confident he would inherit the Armored Titan, Porco was passed over in favor of Reiner, while Marcel received the Jaw Titan. Porco remained unaware that Marcel manipulated the selection to spare him the shortened lifespan of a Titan shifter.
After the Warriors' failed mission to Paradis Island, Ymir—who had consumed Marcel and gained the Jaw Titan—returned to Marley around 850. Porco was transformed into a Pure Titan and made to consume Ymir, inheriting the Jaw Titan. This granted him access to Ymir's memories but not Marcel's, leaving him ignorant of his brother's sacrifice. Porco's five-meter Jaw Titan featured armored plating on its face, knuckles, and fingers, with cog-like hardened skin around its mouth and long blond hair. It moved quadrupedally for speed and possessed exceptional biting strength.
At Fort Slava in 854, Porco shielded Eldian cadets Gabi Braun and Falco Grice from gunfire before destroying enemy fortifications and rail lines. He later protected Reiner's Armored Titan from anti-Titan artillery, dismissing Reiner's gratitude by stating his actions were solely to preserve Marley's military asset. Porco openly blamed Reiner for Marcel's death, maintaining persistent animosity.
In Liberio, Porco attended strategic meetings on invading Paradis and witnessed Willy Tybur's declaration of war. During Eren Yeager's attack, Porco and Pieck Finger were trapped in a confinement pit but escaped with help from Pieck's Panzer Unit. Transforming into his Jaw Titan, Porco ambushed Eren's Attack Titan but was thwarted by Mikasa Ackermann. Learning of Bertholdt Hoover's death, Porco charged recklessly at Eren, leading to his capture. He was forced to break the War Hammer Titan's protective crystal, suffering severe maiming.
Mortally wounded and near death, Porco finally accessed Marcel's memories, understanding his brother's sacrifice. He allowed Falco Grice to devour him, transferring the Jaw Titan. With his last words, he told Reiner, "I've always been better than you."
