Description
In Kamen Rider BLACK SUN, Bishum is one of the three High Priests leading the Gorgom Party, a political organization representing the interests of Kaijin. Her origins trace back to 1972, when she was a revolutionary activist in the nationwide organization Gorgom, fighting for a world where Kaijin could live equally with humans. Alongside her fellow priests Darom and Baraom, she was instrumental in negotiating with Prime Minister Michinosuke Donami, a meeting that resulted in the government publicly endorsing coexistence but effectively subjugated Kaijin to human will.

Fifty years later, Bishum has become a high-ranking politician and a member of the Gorgom Party, serving under the leadership of Prime Minister Shinichi Donami. While she publicly cooperates with the human government, her primary goal is to secure the Kingstones, two mystical objects needed to create a new Creation King, as the current one is near death and the Kaijin population is declining without its life-sustaining extracts. On the surface, she is a pragmatic and cunning individual who prioritizes her own survival and political power above all else. She is an opportunist, willing to shift allegiances seamlessly to remain in a position of advantage. This is starkly demonstrated when she immediately betrays her long-time ally Darom after Nobuhiko Akizuki, now transformed into Shadow Moon, returns with a new vision for a Kaijin-supremacist world. She stabs Darom in the back for not fitting in with this new cause and subdues the other High Priest, Baraom, forcing him into imprisonment.

Bishum is also noted for her sanctimonious and contemptuous nature. She derides others, such as the loyalist Bilgenia, whom she dismisses as a dog to the Donami family, while simultaneously backstabbing her own peers for personal gain. Her role in the story is that of a survivor and a political chameleon. She is present at key moments, such as the failed negotiation in 1972, the abduction of the young Aoi Izumi to complete the Kingstones, and the final confrontations between Kotaro Minami (Kamen Rider Black Sun) and Nobuhiko. After the deaths of the Creation King, Prime Minister Shinichi Donami, and most of the original Gorgom leadership, Bishum emerges as the sole survivor, maintaining her political influence by becoming a subordinate to the new Prime Minister, Isao Nimura.

Key relationships define her trajectory. For decades, she followed Darom as the leader of the trio, but her loyalty was purely transactional. Her alliance with Baraom was equally disposable. Her most significant turn is her support for Nobuhiko, whose newfound power and ruthless ideology she recognizes as the winning side. This pragmatic shift allows her to retain power while others perish.

In terms of development, Bishum transforms from an activist fighting for equality to a cynical politician solely focused on maintaining her status. Unlike other characters driven by ideology or revenge, her arc is one of pure survival, making her a unique and enduring presence in the conflict. As a Kaijin, she possesses the form of a Pterosaur, granting her excellent flight capabilities. She can move freely in the air, perform aerial maneuvers like a gymnast, and carry individuals or objects with her talons while flying. She can also generate powerful gusts of wind by flapping her wings, enough to disorient opponents. In combat, she uses her aerial mobility and sharp claws to attack, though she is ultimately overpowered by Nobuhiko after he awakens telekinetic powers similar to the Creation King.
