Description
Pigeon is a supporting character in the anime Boogiepop and Others, appearing in the storyline adapted from the novel Boogiepop at Dawn. She is a synthetic human, an artificial being created by the Towa Organization, a secret group that operates behind the scenes of the story's events. Her assigned role within the organization is that of a messenger, and she is responsible for delivering orders and information to the various agents who carry out the organization's work. In appearance, she is a young woman with brown eyes and short blonde or yellow hair.

Pigeon has a cheerful and warm disposition. When she interacts with Shinpei Kuroda, an agent known by the codename Scarecrow, she is consistently bright and smiling, and she clearly enjoys their conversations together. Her feelings for Kuroda deepen over the course of their meetings, and she eventually reveals that she is in love with him. Her motivation is shaped primarily by her sense of duty to the Towa Organization, but her personal attachments matter greatly to her as well, and her relationship with Kuroda becomes the most significant connection in her life.

In terms of abilities, Pigeon is physically enhanced and can move at very high speed. This makes her well suited to her job as a courier, allowing her to travel quickly while carrying out her duties for the organization. Her role in the story is that of a supporting figure who connects the Towa Organization's operations to the human characters caught up in the larger conflict. Her development centers on her bond with Kuroda, and when he is killed by Masanori Sasaki, also known as Mo Murder, Pigeon is deeply saddened and angered by his death. Her grief demonstrates that, despite being an artificial human, she experiences genuine emotion, and her loss highlights the human cost of the world she serves.
