Description
Armeni is a minor character who appears in the anime RobiHachi. He is a resident of the industrial planet Yokkamarché, a world known for its deep obsession with classic anime. A vivid and passionate fan of old Earth anime, his favorite series is Galaxy Traveler Hizakuriger. His devotion to this particular show is the central driving force behind his actions.

Armeni’s history is directly tied to his fandom. At some point, he traveled to Earth on a pilgrimage to the homeland of Hizakuriger. It was there that he met Rouche Yarge, the father of the protagonist Robby. In a significant trade, Armeni exchanged a collection of treasured Hizakuriger production materials he inherited from Rouche for all of his own spending money, his spaceship the Nagaya Voyager, and a full-sized Hizakuriger toy. This deal explains how Robby and his companion Hatchi came to possess both their ship and their giant robot. Armeni is also a member of a dedicated fan club known as the Hizakuriger Archive.

In terms of personality, Armeni is defined by his consuming passion for Hizakuriger. His love for the show is not casual; it borders on obsession, to the point where he will go to extreme and morally questionable lengths to obtain lost pieces of the series’ history. When he discovers that Robby is the grandson of Yuma Yarge, the director of Hizakuriger, he is initially filled with admiration and invites Robby to a meeting of his fan club. However, his motivation quickly shifts from reverence to ruthless determination. Upon learning that Robby remembers the details of the series' legendary lost twelfth episode, Armeni does not hesitate to forcibly strap Robby into a memory extraction machine. He is fully aware that this process will cause Robby permanent and absolute memory loss, yet he prioritizes recovering the lost episode over Robby’s well-being. This reveals a fanaticism that overrides empathy and ethics.

Armeni’s role in the story is primarily as an obstacle for the main characters when they visit Yokkamarché for ship repairs. He serves as a source of exposition about the history of Hizakuriger and Robby’s family legacy. His key relationship is with Robby, whom he initially sees as a hero to be honored but quickly redefines as a resource to be exploited. His encounter with the antagonist Yang is also pivotal. In a twist of irony, while Armeni is attempting to extract Robby’s memories, Yang arrives on the scene. Yang, who has his own obsessive desire to re-watch his favorite show, turns the memory extraction machine on Armeni instead. Ultimately, Armeni ends up being the one who has his own memories forcibly extracted, making him a victim of his own methods.

Armeni does not possess any special physical or combat abilities. His notable trait is his extensive and detailed knowledge of classic anime, particularly the production of Hizakuriger. He also has the resources and technical know-how to operate a memory extraction device. His character does not undergo a significant positive development or redemption arc; his story concludes with him suffering the very fate he had planned for another, serving as a cautionary example of fandom taken to a dangerous extreme.
