TV-Series
Description
Joseph Evans is the founder and chief executive officer of the AUZA corporation, a powerful technology company that secretly forms the backbone of the series' central conflict. His position places him at the head of a vast industrial enterprise that develops and manufactures advanced technological systems integrated into everyday society.

In terms of appearance, Joseph is a Caucasian man with short, clean-cut blonde hair and wears eyeglasses. He is often seen with wireless earphones and typically dresses in a plain white shirt and dark brown pants. This professional and unassuming look reflects his role as the public-facing head of a major corporation.

Joseph's personality is defined by extreme narcissism and a profound sense of entitlement. He holds a worldview in which he sees the world as a video game and treats all other human beings as mere characters within that simulation. His driving desire is to be the sole player, or a godlike figure, who can control everything that happens. He is consistently portrayed as arrogant, rude, and condescending toward everyone around him, from his allies to his subordinates. Joseph exhibits no respect for the ancient traditions and codes of the ninja, viewing them dismissively as antiquated, which proves to be a significant point of friction with the ninja organization he partners with. His lack of empathy is complete, culminating in a callous act where he rigs an ally's powered suit to self-destruct in a desperate attempt to kill the protagonist, an act that instead results in the death of a key supporting character.

Within the story, Joseph serves as a primary antagonist and a high-ranking member of the conspiracy hunting the protagonist, Higan. He is a central figure in the alliance between modern technology and traditional ninja power, representing the cold, calculating, corporate arm of evil that contrasts with the more honor-bound, albeit still ruthless, ancient clan. His motivation is not personal revenge but the maintenance and expansion of his power and control on a global scale. He sees Higan as a critical threat to his plans for world domination and directs his resources toward eliminating him. His role escalates from a scheming executive to a desperate antagonist as the series progresses, his position becoming increasingly unstable as the heroes directly assault his company and his plans begin to fail. In the end, his downfall comes not in a spectacular ninja duel but through capture by an FBI agent, who apprehends him as he tries to escape on his private plane.

Joseph's key relationships are almost entirely transactional and defined by his lack of respect for others. He is aligned with Yamaji, the head of the ninja organization, but their partnership is strained. Joseph provides advanced technological weapons and Gusoku Gears, the powered suits used by the ninjas, in exchange for their services as security and assets. However, he constantly clashes with Yamaji over methods and traditions, threatening the ninja master with outdated practices like seppuku, which only highlights his ignorance. He works closely with Dilly, who acts as his subordinate or secretary, frequently attending meetings alongside him. He also has significant interactions with Big D, one of the ninja warriors. In contrast to Joseph, Big D respects the ninja code, and he pointedly ignores Joseph’s orders and insults, highlighting the immense divide between the executive and the warriors he seeks to control.

Joseph does not undergo a positive transformation or redemption arc. Instead, his development is a descent into openly unhinged and frantic behavior as his carefully laid plans fall apart. As the series progresses and Higan repeatedly evades capture and strikes at AUZA, Joseph loses his composure, spending a significant portion of one episode shouting at his allies and subordinates in a panic about their impending failures. His strategic cruelty becomes more direct and personal, culminating in the act of sabotage that leads to a major character death. His final development is his capture and removal from power, with his fate sealed as he is taken into custody.

Joseph does not possess any notable ninja abilities or physical combat skills. His power is derived entirely from his corporate position, his wealth, and the advanced technology his company produces. He is a strategist and a manipulator who uses the skills of others, specifically the ninja, to do his fighting for him. In the narrative, his weapons are his influence, his resources, and the high-tech Gusoku Gears he provides to his allies, but he himself is never shown engaging in physical combat. His defeat is not by a ninja technique but by the ordinary, persistent pursuit of a law enforcement officer.
