Tatsumaru Tachibana
Description
Tatsumaru Tachibana is a Japanese voice actor and stage actor born in Fukui Prefecture on April 21, 1991. He is affiliated with the talent agency Stay Luck. His path to voice acting was inspired by watching Kappei Yamaguchi perform the role of Ranma Saotome in the anime Ranma ½ during his kindergarten years. This early interest was cultivated through practical experience, as his father founded a theater company when Tachibana was ten years old, providing him with his start in professional acting. He later leveraged the connections from his theater work to transition into voice acting.
Tachibana's career includes a range of notable roles in anime television series. He is known for voicing Jin Mori in The God of High School, Eisaku Ōtomo in Aoashi, and Sōjirō Sakuraba in Fanfare of Adolescence. His filmography also includes the roles of Utashima in Blue Period, Animus in Lucifer and the Biscuit Hammer, Yutaka Kashio in World Trigger, Toratarō Kobayashi in Case File nº221: Kabukicho, Takuma Shippō in The irregular at magic high school, and Mario in King of Prism -Your Endless Call- Miinna Kirameki! Prism☆Tours. Beyond these, his voice work spans a wide variety of other series, including Vinland Saga, My Hero Academia, Black Butler, Bucchigiri?!, and Ninja Kamui.
In addition to his anime voice work, Tachibana maintains an active career in stage performance and musicals, a foundation that predates his voice acting debut. His stage credits include roles in productions such as Fushigi Yûgi, Norn9, Sengoku Basara, and Collar × Malice. He has also lent his voice to video game characters, such as the male protagonist in The Caligula Effect 2.
